Denomination: 1 Cent; Composition: 0.95 copper, 0.04 tin, 0.01 zinc; Weight: 5.67 grams; Diameter: 25.53 mm; Edge: plain.
The obverse was the same as the British halfpenny. The reverse was a royal crown and wreath of pitcher plant and oak with bold lettering and date.
