Ordering from J&M is a simple matter. Most coins and accessories can be purchased through our online catalogue, telephone, fax, or e-mail with a valid credit card (Visa and MasterCard accepted). When paying by credit card, the "ship to" address must be the same as the card's "billing" address for security reasons. NOTE: Our toll-free line is for orders only, general inquiries should be conducted through any of our other contact methods.

Our website framework was designed to assume all items of the same denomination would have a common tax applied but the Royal Canadian Mint has diversified and created many coins and sets with different compositions even though the denomination is the same (i.e. nickel, sterling, and silver coins). For most items the taxes as shown on the screen will be accurate but there may be some discrepancies. We manually check each order and will ensure you only pay the appropriate taxes. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Shipping Rates are C$10.00 in Canada, C$15.00 to the U.S.A. (incl. Hawaii), and a minimum of C$40.00 per kilogram overseas (including South America). These shipping rates assume typical orders. Large quantity or heavy packages will result in increased shipping fees, lighter items may be less expensive. GST (Goods and Services Tax) applies to orders from Canada. PST (Provincial Sales Tax) applies where required. No taxes are applicable to pure bullion (0.999 purity or better) product purchases.

Optionally, Canadian customers can request faster than regular post (5-10 business days, $10.00) service by sending an e-mail to specify XPress Post (2-3 business days, $15.00 + G.S.T.) service or Priority Post (1-2 business days, $28.00 + G.S.T.) service.

For catalogue items listed as "inquire", "call", or "POR" (Price on Request), please call our toll-free (in North America) ordering number at 1-888-244-9999 for service. Outside of North America, please call (604) 876-7181. Long distance charges may apply to telephone and fax orders. Have your credit card information ready (card type, name on card, card number, exp. date, billing address).

NOTE: If ordering bullion products, please call to make arrangements and complete this Bullion Booking Form and then fax it to us at 604-876-1518 to confirm the transaction. You may also be required to complete a Cash Declaration form. Check with your booking clerk to be certain.

Mail orders can be sent to either our Vancouver headquarters (127 E. Broadway, Vancouver, BC, Canada, V5T 1W1) or our U.S.A. postal box (P.O. Box #2512, Blaine, WA, USA, 98231-2512). We pick-up mail and items at J&M's U.S.A. mailbox on a weekly basis so some delay may result from orders sent to this location. We remind our clients residing in the United States or outside of Canada to apply the correct postage. Please consult your local post office to avoid needless delay of your mail by applying the correct postage. USA clients may wish to use the USPS Flat Rate Boxes for heavier orders. For maximum $23.00 USD they can hold up to 70 lbs.

Either of our two locations would be pleased to have you visit in-person and discuss your requirements. Credit cards sales and jewellery/coin purchases require photo identification. Not all your required items may be in stock when you arrive -- some goods may follow by mail -- but most coins and related items can be supplied on the spot. Certainly, our jewellery, watches, and design services require a visit where we accept cash, Interac, credit cards and cheques (a declaration will be required for cash sums exceeding $10,000).

Checks or money orders should be drawn in Canadian Dollars or USA dollars at the appropriate exchange rate. Optionally, our staff can book an order for you in US funds, and you simply send that amount. Certified funds are preferred, especially for large orders (over $200). Uncertified funds are welcome but subject to bank clearing delays of up to four weeks. Patrons paying with checks drawn outside of North America are requested to telephone us first to confirm details. In-person purchases may be paid by personal check for approved transactions. Please enquire in advance of making your selections and have proper identification ready.

Credit Cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted for all purchases (bullion related items incur a 3% additional charge). Because we verify the statement billing address with the credit card company before making shipment it is imperative that this is the address you provide. Non-North American customers cannot pay with credit cards as we are unable to verify credit information for those who live outside of Canada or the U.S.A. You can also pay directly into one of our bank accounts by contacting one of our clerks for more details.

Return Policy and Procedure: If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with an item purchased from J&M, we offer a 14-day, unconditional, no-questions-asked return or exchange policy on all items except bullion, watches, custom designed jewellery, and 'final sale' items. To return or exchange goods, kindly send us an e-mail or call to let us know you want to return something and then send it back in the exact condition it was shipped (all packaging, shrink-wrap, certificates) along with a copy of your invoice and, once received, we will follow your instructions and either replace the unsatisfactory item with another or we will issue a refund. If your original purchase was made by credit card, we will refund the money to your card. If the purchase was by cheque, we will issue a cheque for the refund.
